Welcome to my blog
Numerical Synchronicity & Diet Individualization
Ahhh, I love sitting down to blog. I really do enjoy it, and I’m just so grateful for this mechanism of sharing. I also love reading other blogs when I get the chance – people are so generous with their time and information and inspiration, I just love it!
My friend Frank takes the best pictures (including the one above, taken on the mesa trail at the Tree) and I’ve been cabbaging them lately because I can’t find my camera adapter to upload my own pics… thanks Frank… feel free to pelt me with some of your spectacular coconut macaroons if it bothers you…
It’s getting a bit warmer here in Patagonia, it’s the time of year for tanning here..

Toxicity Remedy & the Natural Fake Tan
The unspeakable has happened.
Yes, indeed, the time has cometh. What, you ask? Wait for it… wait for it…
I’ve turned orange.
From the spirulina.
Seriously, my whole body has this orange tint that people are commenting that I look very tan and glowing, but its not a tan! Particularly on my palms and face I am ORANGE!
Perhaps this is my billion dollar claim to fame – I’ve discovered the ultimate fake tan!!!

Revisitations of the Delish
We have, as of today, been visited once again by the Organic Thai Coconut Gods.
Indeed. Another huge truckload. Thing is, I’m still tired of so many coconuts from the last round, that I’m only sort of drawn to them this time…. I am definitely not ready for more coconut kefir, that’s for sure.
Not just coconuts this time, but an assortment of other fruit, as you can see from the picture above that I snagged from Frank.

The Real Sunny Delight
I love the sun. I am such a sunlover it’s unbelievable.
I marvel at the unmatchable ability of the sun to bring me to a place of such joy and happiness, no matter what my mood was prior to that.
Living a place that feels like it probably gets full sunshine 28 days of the month, I don’t know how I could ever, ever go back to living in a place that doesn’t get this sort of sunlight.

To Infinity, and Beyond!
I want to start out this post with appreciation for everyone who leaves me comments on this blog – it brings me a lot of joy to read your responding thoughts!
Oh boy, I am sore today! This working out thing does the trick 😉
I love love love it, and am starting to truly crave exercise. The more I do it (I’ve now been exercising for an hour every other day, and about 15 minutes per day on the ‘off’ days, a combination of cardio, weights, and floor exercises), the more I understand how vitally important it really is.

A Dynamic Day in the Desert
Well, what a weekend it has been!!
Last night we attended a ‘Cheezy Music and Raw Chocolate Dance Party‘. Need I explain more?
If you haven’t had the experience of a large group of very extroverted people dancing like fools, ‘high’ on waaaaaaay too much raw chocolate, durian and coconut…
You need to.

Kefir Glory and Funky Swedish Tunes
I’ve figured out how to bring the colorback to my blog, thanks to the help of a wonderful reader. Thanks 🙂
This has been the week of the kefir! I have drank probably about 20 oz. of kefir every day for the last week. I imagine my digestive flora is quite thriving and healthy by now. I totally love it, I have no aversion to the taste and actually really love it.
The Tree of Life Cafe has also been putting out fermented vegetables out every day for lunch, so I’m getting quite the dosage of healthy probiotics!

The Rare Phenomenon of True Bodily Inhabitation
My post title today is somewhat sarcastic, but only in the most playful way, of course.. find out what I mean by continuing to read…
Greetings to you on a 74 degree Arizonian day 🙂
I think I might turn totally brown this year, what with the spirulina glow and the season of sun, which is NOW!!

Epicness Indeed
Blog naming is a lot more difficult when I can’t just name it the day of the Juice Feast I’m on 😛 I’m just not quite sure what to name these blogs… Maybe I should just choose titles that are completely random and not having anything to do with the the actual subject of the blog?
Some of you have requested the ‘how to’ make coconut kefir. I actually wrote this in my blog early in the Juice Feast, please click here to see that post.

Niagara in a Glass
Alternative to colonics? Probably not, but nonetheless, a new alternative to completely FLUSHING your colon out is to drink a large amount of fermented coconut kefir at once.
Whew. I think people usually take a few ounces at a time, but Thim and I decided to down a good 18 oz glass each at all at once… and THAT was quite the experience.
Beware, because preceding your release you may be visited upon by some lovely fragrances emitting from deep within your digestive tract.

Exciting Things Are to Come, Don’t You Agree?
Ello ello, dear readers! I do trust that you’re having a first few days of 2008 that are naught but spectacular!
The picture above was taken right before we ate our Thanksgiving Feast, I think its wonderful so I thought I’d share. I’m actually in the picture, but I won’t try to tell you where I am.
I got a lovely chance to see the first copy of Gabriel’s NEW BOOK!!
This one is going to rock the world. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s called
“THERE IS A CURE FOR DIABETES”

Coconut Conundrums
Among the many delightful happenings yesterday, a local organic produce company delivered to us several thousands of pounds of:
ORGANIC, NON-IRRADITED YOUNG MEXICAN COCONUTS.

Merry Holiday Musings
A spectacular Christmas season it was for me, how about you?
Christmas Eve found us enjoying another warm sunny day during which time sunbathing was again at hand. Evening meditation was wonderful and rejuvenitive, with Dr. Cousens ending the meditation by saying,’Shalom shalom shalom, shant shanti shanti… HO HO HO!’ (Get it – Santa?) You have to appreciate that man’s sense of humor.

Spirulina Fanaticism
Christmas here in southern Arizona is a rather interesting one – I’ve always lived places that most definitely have snow this time of year, always the ideal postcard ‘Winter Wonderland’. This year, as well as last year, I’ve gotten to experience a desert winter, and I must say I am falling more and more in love with it. I ate my spirulina salad lunch on the sundeck today in my skirt and tshirt and the sun was oh so warm and the weather oh so perfect. Sometimes I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to live in a place that gets cold and/or cloudy….

Exhuberant Excitements
So how has it been, since breaking my juice feast a week ago? Very interesting. Still melancholy about food – enjoying it but missing juice feasting as well. My digestion is still quite slow, but picking up.
I’ve basically been eating just salads – sprouts and greens, with spirulina, a few times a day, plus a few peices of fruit and some green juice. That’s been about the extent, and it feels good! I love love love spirulina!

Post Juice Feast Digestion, Lifestyle Integration
So I’ve had a bit of sprout with spirulina and they are SO yummy and fulfilling. I’m having some discomfort due to my digestion being slower than I expected it to, so I’m having to be really careful about what and how much I eat. I’m hoping my digestion will normalize a bit – it’s slower than it was before I started feasting.
A new philosophy that has entered my life during the Juice Feast is the transition from an all or nothing point of view to a more integrated and balanced point of view. I know that’s sort of vague, so let me explain.

Eating Intentions
I’ve been clarifying priorities for myself as I transition back to the world of eating. Some of these regard specific decisions on what and how to eat and others are more about the mindset I am choosing to maintain surrounding food and drink. I’d like to list some of them!

Feast Breaking
Ahh yes, so how has it been breaking the feast? Interesting indeed.
Prunes. Quite the interesting thing to have as one’s first real meal. Soaking them for an entire night sure makes them nice and mushy and soggy. Delectible 😉 But WOW, was I ever SO full after that first 8 oz. of soaked prunes! Had some lovely orange juice and green juice that day, which went down well.

Day 60 Juice Feast
AAAAAAAAAH DAY 60!! So I decided today that 60 feels good to me, and I’m actually looking forward to eating again. It’s gone so fast and so slow at the same time… funny how that is. I’m just so pumped to have experienced such a marvelous tool for cleansing and healing that is so easy, enjoyable, and fun!
Today I had some green juice and a lot of watermelon juice, I was sort of all over the place today so I didn’t record the exact amounts, but oh was it YUMMY!
