Healing Compulsive Eating: Never Diet Again

When you heal the root causes of compulsive eating, you’ll never need to go on a diet again!

Continually dieting is exhausting. Planning the next one, falling off the wagon or being successful, slipping back to old ways, and then trying the next one.

I've had many clients who, before they contacted me, tried diet after diet to curb their junk food habits and lose weight.

You are not doomed to be on and off diets for the rest of your life!

Diets are not your only option to eat healthier and lose weight.

True freedom with food is getting to a point where you never need to go on another diet again, because your day in, day out habits are healthy and result in you getting to and staying at a healthy weight.

Most people are drawn to diet after diet because they feel helpless to stop their compulsive food habits and the draw to a diet is a knee jerk, desperate attempt to control themselves. This is motivated by fear and harshness, not love and understanding.

When you deal with the root causes of overeating and junk food compulsions, you will naturally gravitate towards a healthy, balanced diet — without trying.

You'll eat healthy food in appropriate portions and your balance of treats or some unhealthy food (which most of us are able to have from time to time without affecting our health), will be balanced.

You won't need to go on a diet because why would you? You're already eating healthfully.

I do feel cleansing is something different -- I recommend them as a way to allow your body to heal on a cellular level and also as a short term strategy to help you access repressed emotions.

But that's very different to the habit many of my clients had, which was 10 or 20 or 40 years of constant dieting, always trying the newest fad or book or plan they heard about, with no intention of that diet being about cellular repair or accessing emotions.

Dealing with our denied and suppressed feelings and the truths that we're scared to face, is the best way to get to a point where you'll never want to or need to diet again.

I'd love to hear from you. How many diets have you tried? What has your experience been with the success of diets long term? What happened when you stopped dieting and focused on long-term habits and the emotional reasons you were overeating?
