60 Day Juice Feast – Day 22
Today’s Feast, in order of consumption:
16 oz. water w/ 1/2 TBS MSM
16 oz. spinach/apple/celery/grape juice
6 TBS bee pollen, chlorella and hemp oil **11/09/07 – Don’t do superfood pastes on a juice feast like I did!**
32 oz. green juice w/ lemon, cayenne and turmeric
26 oz. orange juice w/ 1/2 TBS MSM
32 oz. spinach/bok choy/celery/cucumber/lemon juice w/ cayenne and turmeric
22 oz. carrot/apple/cranberry juice w/ 1 tsp MSM
I have been SO happy today!! I’m a happy person as is, but today I’m just elated I feel like I could run a marathon or maybe just do a little dancing burst of ecstatic energization!
I overdid it again on the bee pollen (although I feel the cravings less strongly now) and afterwards I felt sick. Mostly stomach sick with a little bit of sweating. I think a clear indication that I need to lay off. Well, you live, you learn – as David says, there’s no such thing as a perfect juice feaster. One actually doesn’t have to do bee pollen on a juice feast, so although it is a part of my juice feast, I am considering the idea of going a week or two without it, so as to increase my pace of detoxification a little faster (bee pollen slows it down).
I have noticed that I never really have combined fruits and greens, aside from an occasional apple mixed in with my spinach juice. Right from the start, it’s seemed intuitive to me just to do low glycemic juices and then supplement with fruit juices – fruit being alone. I like the taste and feel of doing this – I don’t mind having super strong green juices as I have – with greens and celery and cucumber, and then mixing in a whole bunch of green powder, algaes, cayenne and turmeric. And then I do the fruit juices and I love them just alone – its sort of like a dessert.
Yumyum! Happy Day 22!
