A Diverse Weekend in Patagonia

A nice weekend this one was. First thing Saturday… Hike up Red Mountain (that’s the glorious mountain you see in many pics of the Tree). Some pictures:

Next I did a yoga therapy/acupressure type class, which was very enjoyable and during which I received further confirmation through acupressure, that my gallbladder requires some loving. I am still planning to do the liver/gallbladder flush soon, so that will be telling.

Lastly, a party at Christopher’s house. Laughs and a cake that tasted like peanut butter fudge… what’s better than that?!

Sunday I did my first P90X workout since my break recently, and today, I am SORE. It is absolutely amazing how quickly one can get out of shape! My friend did it with me, and had never done a P90X workout and was flabberghasted at how out of shape those people make you feel!

After the workout we walked over to the local farmer’s market and I picked up a 32 oz. bottle of freshly squeezed, organic, raw, unpasteurized, local apple cider and drank the entire thing. An odd thing for me to do – consume fruit.. consume fruit juice.. consume a LOT of fruit juice.. Yet, it was so delish and truly welcomed after a workout like that!

Next, we went pomegranate tree hunting in the neighborhoods and found about 10 small but ripe and tasty pomegranates!

Then, I sunbathed in the delicious afternoon sunbeams and read one of my current books, “The 12 Secrets of Highly Creative Women” by Gail McKeen, and wrote in my journal. In case you’re wondering, I’m completely at peace with rubbing in your face that I am basking in perfect sun-bathing weather in mid-October, and if you don’t like that, you can just come and visit me!

That’s right,
Courtney
