Wonderful Wild Fruits

It is the season of wild fruit here!!!

Saguaro fruit season has come and gone, being it is a very small window of time. This year I didn’t get out to picking any, but i did have some dried fruit a friend had picked and OH is it amazing. I have to say it is one of the tastiest fruits I have had.

I often walk up on the ‘Mesa‘ – one of the higher elevations here in Patagonia, which provides absolutely beautiful views out miles and miles in many directions. I recently found a mulberry tree on one of my walks. Most of the berries aren’t ripe yet, but every time I walk/run there, which is most every day, I pick a few of the ripe ones.. mm..

We also have a giant peach tree on the TOL property, which provided us with fantastic, golf ball sized peaches for many weeks. Small and flavor filled  We just finished off the last of them – and there were a lot.
Lastly, we are now coming into Prickly Pear season, which is awesome. It means that the Tree of Life Cafe has a period full of fuchsia purple nut mylks and other crazy purple smoothies and juices. I ran out of aloe, but you can bet I am planning on experimenting with aloe/prickly pear/cherry/gogi smoothies, ooooooooh yeah.. think of the color on that one..

SoOoOoo, it is fruitfully abundant in southern Arizona!

On another note, I had a VERY interesting thing go on for me for about a week and a half which just ended recently. After one of my meditations I started to have this sensation on the very top of my head – It always felt like there was a bug buzzing around or that the top of my head was being brushed by some leaves. For several days I’d reach up to find nothing there.. and as soon as I removed my hand the strange sensation came back. I finally figured it was just some interesting crown chakra movement, and just let it be. It went away finally, but was quite an intriguing experience  Thus far the two chakras I have felt absolutely without a doubt were my third eye chakra, and now my crown chakra.

Fabulously fruiting,
Court
