Day 6 Global Juice Feast
I’ve journaled all my life, and I’ve done some really satisfying journaling on this feast. I so, so love how juice feasting is like an instant step back to look at every area of our lives with more clarity. I’m actually still reading the same book I started on my LAST juice feast – ‘Awaken the Giant Within’ by Anthony Robbins.
I’ve never taken so long to read a book in my life But this one is so packed with great tools and insights, that I am really taking it slowly to apply everything I’m learning from it. Books like this are such a gift and I like to really integrate, apply, and actually DO the suggested exercises that resonate with me – its an active participation, not just sitting down and reading a book – nothing wrong with that, it just depends on the book :)
Today’s Feast, in order of consumption:
18 oz. garden greens/apple/celery/sprouts/cucumber w/ 1 TBS spirulina
14 oz. peppermint tea
22 oz. garden greens/sprouts/cucumber/celery
24 oz. orange/grapefruit/mango w/ 1 TBS chlorella & 1/2 TBS bee pollen
26 oz. orange/grapefruit/mango w/ chlorella and 1/2 TBS bee pollen
16 oz. greens/cucumber/celery/lemon/ginger
20 oz. orange/grapefruit/mango w/ chlorella and 1/2 TBS bee pollen
Total: 126 oz. juice, 140 oz. total liquid
You may be noticing I’m not doing any oils. Because I am doing a short feast – 7 days likely, the oil is not necessary. I certainly could do it if I wanted to. The oil is definitely a huge help in long term juice feasts, and have awesome properties.
I am the most satisfied with my juices that have spirulina in them It’s just been so cool because intuitively I felt like I needed lots of protein and indeed, my intuition was right, as the tests showed me to be a protein person
“If all you did was just look for things to appreciate you would live a joyous, spectacular life. If there was nothing else that you ever came to understand other than just look for things to appreciate, it’s the only tool you would ever need to predominantly hook you up with who you really are. That’s all you’d need.”
