Punching Pillows Will Stop You Eating Donuts

Yes, I am saying that punching pillows will help you to stop overeating donuts!

Emotionally expressing and physically experiencing your emotions has an immediate and long-term positive effect on healing overeating.

Punching pillows can help you stop overeating donuts!

Trembling and shaking in fear can help you avoid eating when you're not hungry.

Crying and grieving can help you stop binge eating popcorn.

It is a truly remarkable experience when you see that it works: you feel an emotion, and the urge to compulsively eat either significantly lessens or it goes away completely.

Feeling your emotions is productive, it changes things, it creates positive outcomes.

It is not futile or pointless like most of us incorrectly believe.

Many of my clients say they understand this link between suppressing emotions and their behavior with food, but at the same time are very afraid to even try experiencing them.

You won't know until you really and truly try this approach.

To heal from overeating, you will need to do a lot of punching pillows, screaming and swearing (alone, not at people), throwing things, sobbing, and shaking.

This is your in-the-moment solution to cravings! Feeling your anger, fear or sadness. Feeling it physically and emotionally, without trying to control it or judge it.
